We shall be having a Bee-Day in Foston Village Hall on Saturday July 6th from 2.00pm to 4.30pm so come along and enjoy the show!
Grantham Beekeepers Association will be there with their demonstration hive so that you can see exactly what the bees get up to when
they are working hard in their home to produce their lovely honey. And there will be the chance to sample some of the golden stuff
– in cakes and biscuits on sale with cups of tea and coffee – and to buy in pots to take home for your tea!
There will be activities for the children too, and lots of information on how to be bee-friendly in your garden. We hope to have some
plants for sale, and if you have any surplus plants from your Spring sowings, we would be happy to pass those on to other gardeners,
so please bring them along.
